EarthCorp was first envisioned by TY Cherry on June 14, 2001, and founded as a non-profit in April, 2009 with the goal of preserving and regenerating our environment, while empowering the global community by creating harmony between economics and our environment. When we began we realized a fundamental flaw with the existing nonprofit cycle. Past and present efforts by other environmental preservation funds are hampered by insufficient funding or an inability to generate that funding without relying almost exclusively on donations. We see a different way.
EarthCorp works in the actual supply chain alongside small and large businesses in the manufacturing and retail sectors. In the agricultural sector we directly connect businesses to environmentally sustainable producers to create increased revenues for all parties at no cost to them. In other sectors EarthCorp produces commodities (ie fuel, carbon credits) while creating jobs and economic growth. We remove our dependence on donors and create a profitable space linked to environmental regeneration. We are establishing a new benchmark for sustainable regenerative processes structured within our socioeconomic cycle that generates large amounts of funding. We are setting an elevated new standard for how those funds are utilized for the vision and cause.
Our Corporate Social Reasonability (CSR) rating system has the power to educate consumers, enroll corporations to be more responsible and help them to do so at no cost, and perpetually fund EarthCorp and its global initiatives such as our projects here. This unique system has been developed and refined over the past 10 years. We firmly believe it is the most innovative and impactful socioeconomic project yet created. We are committed to its success to preserve our planet in harmony with our economic system.
EarthCorp sees new possibilities in all sectors. We envision a world that is fully regenerated; where all people work together to mutually benefit one another and simultaneously serve our planet. The industrial manufacturing and retail economic systems humanity has created have too much momentum to be stopped and shifted from the outside. We can solve our challenges by utilizing what is already in place. No dramatic changes, no massive, cumbersome and unrealistic ventures. Instead, we are using a simple, highly effective model that adapts all of our existing socioeconomic systems into a holistic approach where everyone wins: Small Food Producers, Manufacturers, Commercial Retailers, Consumers, Industrial Sector Business, and most importantly, our Planet.
As part of our core philosophy we believe We Are All One. One race, One people, One life, One World. When we all truly see that there are no differences amongst any of us, or any life on our planet, prosperity on all levels will abound. We espouse this philosophy and endeavor to share it with everyone we come in contact with.
Beyond our team there are many others that make EarthCorp a reality. All the projects that we take on would not be possible without ongoing participation of the businesses that choose to work with us to allow their resources to reach back into the communities at the grassroots level. What’s great about businesses working with EarthCorp is that they see increased profits. They can participate to help support EarthCorp and never need worry about hurting their bottom line.
The biggest part of our EarthCorp team is you, the Consumer and Member. When you are interested in improving conditions for people around the world and making a positive impact on the environment you put pressure on large businesses to meet those demands. In our CSR Program you choose how to spend your money, and we provide you a way to make fully informed decisions about the businesses that you support. Imagine, 7 billion strong! When just 30% of us are using our power of choice to insist on positive change and growth, nothing in the Universe will hold us all back. YOU are EarthCorp. EarthCorp exists for you, for everyone, EarthCorp IS everyone, all of us working together. We truly all are One.
EarthCorp will gather a Board of Directors from around the world, composed of our next generation, between the ages of 15 and 22. Founder and President TY Cherry will remain as the Senior Board of Director member and wIll serve to elect the initial board of directors members. Our Senior Board of Advisors will be composed of experienced business persons from all countries with varied backgrounds ideally suited to the design of EarthCorp.
Applicants for a board of directors position will undergo a rigorous interview process taking place over several months, along with a training program. Their skill sets, aptitude, awareness, and multiple factors will be taken into consideration for their participation. The purpose of this structure is to move our future generations into active planning and decision making about their planet and future. Age and experience are critically important, however our actions as a species and society have brought us where we are today, and our older generations are essentially indoctrinated into the same thinking that brought us here, and their decisions are thus strongly influenced by a ‘status quo’ thought process. For society to change, we must break away from this, and create a new way of thinking and living.
The board of advisors is a board to advise, not to decide. Older generations cannot claim right to action and decision for a future that is not theirs. They cannot claim they know better, as clearly evidenced by the facts all around us. Future progress must evolve from the combined planning of both boards with decisions rendered by the Directors.
